Pay It Forward

Sandy at For the LOVE of Prims had this on her blog and so I thought I would do it too, sooo...

This is how it works: I will send a gift of my choice to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this "Pay it forward" exchange.YOU MUST make the same pledge on your blog! So, if you want some goodies from me and you are willing to do the same on your blog, do let me know! I will need your email address so we can correspond to each other for mailing addresses so I can get your little goodies out in the mail.
Well, what do you guys think; it is supposed to be something small; like something that can be sent in a mailing envelope or very small box. I think this will be a fun thing and I know many of you are already committed to do this, but I am hoping for three who have not done so yet :)
Let the FUN begin!!!!!

Merrie,
How does the Pay It Forward work? I'm still new at blogging and am not familar with this. You said you are hoping for 3 who have not done it yet. Is it always 3 or can you do more or less? Do the 3 also send something to you?

You mention in your comment to me that you had 2 Husqvarna Vikings. One is the Designer 1, what is the other one? Did you get the new Diamond or do you have the Designer SE? I left you a reply about my machines on my blog.

Let me know about the Pay It Forward. I'm interested in it.
Talk at ya soon.

Hi, Merrie! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. How fun it was to read yours, and to meet someone else who points to their hand when they say where they live! :-)))

Whenever you're in Port Austin, have you stopped by our own fabulous shabby cottage shop, The Haven? It's right in town, on Railroad Street, which, if you've turned into town from Port Austin Road (M-25) is the first street on your left. Turn left, it's right next door to the Port Austin Player's Theater. AWESOME stuff, and the owners, Angie and Helen, are from Lapeer!

Helen and her husband own a darling Victorian cottage, and they converted the garage to the shop, added onto the back of it, and built a summer house in the back yard. Fabulous place! Very magazine worthy. I'll be featuring it on my blog soon; I have about 300 photos to sort thru first. UGH!

So you missed the Blue Water Yard Sale Trail this weekend? Shame on you. It was fabulous; well, Friday was. It rained most of Saturday. I was very restrained, but did find a wonderful vintage, reconditioned Elna Lotus SP for my Mom for $75! (she collects vintage sewing machines) AWESOME buy!

Loved reading about your machines. I use an Elna, hmmm 6003 maybe? It's the one called the Quilter's Dream. But for quick piecing, making lil summer skirts, pillows, baby clothes, just quick stuff, I have a reconditioned Singer Featherweight that I ADORE! I have a couple others, a vintage portable Singer - the real heavy black metal one that's portable only if you're Charles Atlas ha ha, that's the real workhouse in the house, a Kenmore with lotso fancy stitches that rarely sees the light of day, and a serger.

Why on EARTH do we need all these machines, eh? But they're so nice to have.

Anyway, it was so nice to meet you ! I'm sure I heard you drive by -- we back onto M-25, and we know that spring has arrived when we start hearing motorcycles go by. We rejoice!

Actually, we both rode all thru our twenties and thirties, and hubby's shopping for one again. He works in Ohio, commuting back home on weekends, and we're thinkin', you know, 2 wheels are a lot cheaper on gas than four!

OK, time to hit the easel. Have a wonderful day!! Oh, and I'm adding you to my blogroll. Thank you for same!
